PLAY FANTASY LEAGUE HERE!

After four enthralling Betfred Challenge Cup Quarter-Final matches over the weekend, it’s business as usual with a return to Betfred Super League action as Round 8 gets underway on Thursday Night.

Just like the rest of the 2026 season, league is hitting different.

Fantasy Super League players have had an extra week to make any changes to their team. Still struggling to decide who to include in your side? Let’s run down the Fantasy Team of the Season So Far and why you should be considering some of these players for your squads, well ahead of Thursday’s 6pm deadline.

Build or change your Fantasy team here!

Lachie Miller (£160k) - 388 points

The full-back injury curse seems to be lifting in recent weeks, with Niall Evalds, Jai Field & Cai Taylor-Wray all returning.

It has, however, meant that Miller has been the standout option in the first quarter of the regular season, racking up 388 Fantasy points so far.

The Rhinos number 1 is a valuable asset on both sides of the ball. In seven appearances, Miller has made six try assists, 57 tackle busts and ran over 1000 metres!

He’s already proved over the past two years that he’s a consistent source of points for Fantasy players and looks to be going one better in 2026.

Will he be in your side for Round 8?

Mathieu Jussaume (£90k) - 414 points

Avid Fantasy players will know all about Jussaume, the Frenchman, who regularly features on the Fantasy Top Performers list in 2026.

In fact, he’s third in the overall Top Performers list – not bad at all for a fellow priced at £90k!

Jussaume has proved that he belongs at the top level and has raised his game for Toulouse in Super League this time round. He’s scored four tries, two try assists and completed 216 tackles.

Jussaume has punched well above his attractive price tag, providing plenty of those important Fantasy points.

Can he keep this up throughout 2026?

Davy Litten (£100k) – 319 points

The Black & Whites have endured a rocky start to the 2026 season, but Davy Litten’s displays have been a shining light, with the 22-year-old quickly becoming one of the first-choice names within the squad.

Just like Jussaume, Litten has proved he can provide excellent value for money without breaking the bank.

If you’re looking to change your centres before Round 8 kicks off, Litten could be your man…

Maika Sivo (£140k) – 357 points

There are certainly no surprises here, as the flying Fijian has run rampant since coming back for his ACL injury last year, taking the elite competition by storm.

Sivo is a danger to any of his opposition and currently tops the Super League try scoring charts with 12 tries already this season.

That’s 120 Fantasy points just on tries alone, as well as his 13 line-breaks and 36 tackle busts.

Sivo has very quickly become a fan favourite of the Rhinos faithful, with cult-like adulation. The question is, will he become a favourite in your Fantasy team?

Darnell McIntosh (£100k) - 277 points

This could be seen as a bit of a shock!

The Tigers haven’t been at their best in 2026, meaning that McIntosh’s contributions to his have gone under the radar.

But the Cas winger has scored three tries and produced nine offloads and 506 metres so far in 2026 – equally 277 Fantasy points.

The Tigers’ winger is also priced lower than centre options and has proved good value for money with his performances.

Is that enough to convince you to try out McIntosh for Round 8?

Tristan Sailor (£160k) - 433 points

Saints’ star half-back has certainly benefitted from the style of play Head Coach Rowley has implemented at the club, as well as relishing having former Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel Jackson Hastings beside him.

Sailor’s plays have often been match-winning in 2026, notably his titanic display against the Warriors on Good Friday where he helped overturn a 14-point deficit with just eight minutes remaining.

In seven appearances, Sailor has run 990 metres, scored three tries, made five try assists and completed 29 tackle busts and 16 offloads – the most offloads of any player in Super League so far. That’s Fantasy points from all angles!

Behind Joe Mellor, Sailor is the second highest top Fantasy Performer.

He is, however, is one of the more expensive options if you’re looking for a new half-back – priced at £160k.

Although we think you’ll agree that the price tag is more than justified given his output so far this season…

ES018969

Toby Sexton (£150k) - 345 points

Safe to say, Sexton has impressed since joining the Dragons from the Canterbury Bulldogs in the NRL, adding a layer of quality and composure to Catalans’ attack.

Sexton’s all-around game is underpinned by the stats! He’s impressed from all directions, that’s for sure.

Looking to change up your scrum half for Round 8? Toby Sexton is a huge shout!

Ryan Sutton (£120k) - 392 points

The Bulls number 8 has played like he’s had a point to prove on his return to the Betfred Super League and has added crucial experience and leadership to a Bradford team that are playing the Super League for the first time in 12 years.

The powerhouse prop has put in the hard yards and done the less glamorous side of the game to help his team out on a weekly basis.

Sutton has completed a whopping 307 tackles completed – the second highest in Super League, highlighting how he’s willing to put his body on the line in order to reap the rewards.

At £120k, Sutton is more than reasonably priced for what he has been offering in the opening seven rounds.

Will he be part of your team for Round 8?

Paul Vaughan (£130k) - 377 points

Veteran Paul Vaughan brought all that knowledge with him when he joined the newly promoted Knights in the off-season, quickly becoming a key member of the dressing room.

At 34-years of age, Vaughan has shown that he’s still at the top of his game, accumulating 377 points.

Is that enough evidence for you to stick him in your team ahead of the Thursday deadline?

Daryl Clark (£140k) - 400 points

Regular Fantasy players won’t be fazed that Daryl Clark makes the Fantasy Team of the Season so far.

The hooker has already appeared on the Fantasy’s Team of the Week more than once this year!

Clark’s dazzling displays have certainly helped the Saints win five out of their last six matches.

With 190 tackles made, four tries scored, 21 tackle busts, ten offloads and three clean line breaks, is there anything Clark can’t do in 2026?

Want to change your hooker, look no further than Daryl Clark…

Sam Walters (£110k) - 373 points

The Warriors second-rower was handed the number 14 shirt by Peet in the off-season, implying he’d get more minutes this season and that faith has well and truly been repaid.

Walters’ grit and character have come through in his recent performances, making 650 metres and 241 tackles, and scoring two tries!

Although he features in this Fantasy Team of the Season Special for the hefty amount of points he's accumulated in this position so far, you are unfortunately going to expect Walters to slip in the next few weeks.

He was recently handed a 3-match ban in the Betfred Challenge Cup quarter-finals, meaning he will be watching Wigan from the side-lines until Round 11.

It may be worth transferring Walters out during this period.

Isaiah Vagana (£100k) - 386 points

Vagana’s performances this season have been so good that they’ve kept Trinity that he has earned a regular spot in the first team line-up!

The Wakefield forward has shown plenty of heart in Rounds 1 to 7, completing 241 tackles and 620 metres, as well as a staggering ten offloads!

Vagana is a lot cheaper in comparison to is fellow second rowers in Fantasy but is exceptional value at £100k.

If he continues to start, will you be bearing Vagana in mind?

Joe Mellor (£110k) - 522 points

Mellor again Olé Olé!

He’s a firm fantasy favourite and currently tops the Fantasy charts in 2026 – 89 points ahead of Tristan Sailor in second spot.

The vastly experienced loose forward has been a real regular in the Top Performers list and for good reason too!

He’s a vital part of Kurt Haggerty’s side who leads by example, and his output has been nothing less than monumental: 353 tackles completed, 450 metres made, and 13 offloads and 20 tackle busts produced.

Mellor is currently the top tackler in Super League this season and made an astounding 69 tackles in Rivals Round. You can see why he’s one of the first names on the team sheet for so many Fantasy players…

With the number 13’s work rate and determination making him the highest scoring Fantasy player as of yet, can you be persuaded to transfer Mellor into your Fantasy team? It shouldn’t take much!
